Volume II of the trilogy “Temporal Economics” (《经济学的时间的研究》).

Where Volume I established the formal theory, Volume II turns the temporal lens onto the existing body of economic thought. It conducts a systematic temporal audit of resource-based economics — including standard frameworks of production, allocation, equilibrium, and growth — asking the same question of each: under what temporal conditions does this model implicitly hold, and what happens when those conditions are violated?

The book examines several domains:

  • Production and allocation — the temporal assumptions hidden inside seemingly atemporal optimization;
  • Equilibrium and adjustment — the gap between formal convergence and the temporal feasibility of adjustment paths;
  • Growth and accumulation — the structural conditions under which resource-based growth ceases to be temporally realizable;
  • Coordination under high-frequency conditions — the breakdown of standard coordination mechanisms as the time scale of economic interaction compresses.

The audit identifies a recurring pattern: many results in resource-based economics depend on tacit temporal premises that are not stated, not tested, and increasingly not satisfied by the systems being modeled. The volume thereby clears the ground for the unified temporal framework that the trilogy as a whole develops.

本书为《经济学的时间的研究》三卷本第二卷，将第一卷建立的时间标准系统性地施加于现有经济学体系，对资源基础经济学展开全面的时间审计。

本书对生产、配置、均衡与增长等标准经济学框架逐一追问同一个问题：这个模型隐含了什么时间前提？当这些前提不成立时会发生什么？

审计揭示了一个反复出现的模式：资源基础经济学的诸多核心结论，依赖于未经陈述、未经检验、且在现实系统中日益不被满足的时间性前提。这一发现为三卷本整体所构建的时间经济学统一框架清理了地基。
